Caffetteria Valentino
About This Spot
Stepping into Caffetteria Valentino feels like slipping into a quietly familiar corner of Casarano, where the pace slows just enough to savor a moment of calm. The space invites you to linger—whether you’re settling into one of the cozy booths or choosing a seat under the shade of the outdoor awning. There’s a gentle hum of conversation around you, the kind born from small groups sharing afternoon chats and the occasional clink of coffee cups.
This is a place where mornings unfold with the comforting ritual of a well-poured espresso, often paired with a delicate pastry or a touch of creamy gelato that offers a sweet escape from the everyday. Though not every bite carries the flash of freshness, the variety available—from soft, melt-in-your-mouth doughnuts to rustic sandwiches, and the cheerful assortment of pizzalike snacks—makes every visit feel like a casual culinary stroll, inviting you to pick and choose what suits your mood that day.
The indoor atmosphere is quietly welcoming, designed for those who appreciate comfortable, relaxed spaces where time seems to stretch just a little longer. The staff, often busy yet approachable, lend an honest human presence that softly colors the experience, reminding you this is a community hub as much as it is a café or wine store.
What lingers most here isn’t the sharp note of perfection but the sincere, everyday warmth of a local spot where flavor and conversation weave together. Whether you’re stopping by for a cool frappè, a sweet crepe, or a glass of wine as the day eases toward evening, Caffetteria Valentino holds a gentle invitation to slow down, savor what’s simple and good, and soak in the familiar pulse of life in this corner of Italy.

The ice cream was very nice loved it but wouldn’t necessarily eat pizza here cause didn’t taste fresh

Because there is a wide selection of cakes, pastries, sweeties and small savoury and pizza-like snacks, not all very fresh but tasty. The service is always friendly but the staff seem overworked. The coffee could be better but the indoor seating is very comfy and it's a good place to stay for a long time and chat. Doesn't have a local atmosphere but an atmosphere of profit first. I like it, generally. I've been there dozens of times.

The coffee was great here. The mini croissant I had was a little hard and chewy. But the cream doughnut was great. They also serve sandwiches, wraps and Ice cream gelato. They have indoor air conditioning seating and outdoor seating also.

Friendly, good coffee, cheerful decor, lots of comfortable booths to hang out in.
